New York City’s Matt Bernson is the hot new shoe designer every fashionista should know. He designs shoes for Zac Posen and Walter, his fall boots are to die for, and his footwear showcase an exuberance of versatile cool, with just a touch of boho glam.
And fervent acceptance by trend setting stars such as Gisele Bundchen, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts, Gwen Stefani, Courtney Cox, Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, Ashley Tisdale, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, who have all embraced his designs, smitten with its “cool girl vibe” and throwback to the comfortable, glamorous footwear of yesteryear.
David Babaii, you know him as the “King of Curl,” the man who’s worked his styling magic on such celebrities as “Angelina Jolie, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Gwyneth Paltrow,” earning him the title, “the Hairstylist to the Stars.”
Babaii, who “would sit for hours watching his mother cut hair while growing up,” attributes his great success as a celebrity hairstylist to dedication, hard work, and “connecting with his clients.” Babaii is so connected with his celebrity clients, when he is cutting their hair, he enters what has been referred to as the “Cutting Zone,” a styling Nirvana, where the outside world simply fades away for him.
Soft neutrals like white, beige, and pale pink are the colors celebs are opting for these days. Everyone from Kate Hudson to Kate Beckinsale is daring to be romantically dressed this autumn, when the color palette is mostly dark.
Kate Hudson has been wearing lightweight white dresses this summer and has managed to stay chic and fresh in these casual outfits. The Fashion Time editors will help you easily shop Kate’s look for less.
