Knitted fabrics are very much in. This was proven during the Fall/Winter ’09 shows, with designers like Jonathan Saunders, Carlos Miele, Donna Karan and Doo.ri sending down the runway, a whole passel of models wrapped in heavy knitted cardigans, sweaters and dresses.

In S/S ‘08 many designers told us a bedtime story and dressed up their models in sheer seductive fabrics. As part of the chic boudoir trend, it became clear that lace is not the old fashioned fabric from your grandmother’s wardrobe anymore.
