‘The Bigger the Better’ motto continues its invasion into the fall ’08 jewelry territory with super massive cuffs, dramatic necklaces and bejeweled belts.

Life in the countryside can be chic and stylish with designers offering plenty of checks, plaids, tweeds, twills and fur for Fall/Winter ’09. Nothing is more pleasant than soft jackets, velvet dresses, cozy vests, chunky knits and tweed pants in chilly weather, when there’s a strong bite to the air, and your breath turns to frost.

Indian inspired costume jewelry was a big hit at Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2008 fashion show. Silver and gold- tiered necklaces with glass, pearls, and crystal embellishments were worn as a headpiece on the runway.

Egg-shaped dresses are quite a risky outfit and they may not work for most women. But their dramatic play on proportion is the thing we love the most about them.
