By Editor • Sep 23rd, 2008 • Category: Trend Time

Think Tartan

By Editor • Aug 21st, 2008 • Category: Trend Time

‘Tartans are absolutely brilliant’ said Vivienne Westwood. It seems that designers like Henry Holland and Dolce&Gabbana support her belief, as tartans were a main leitmotif at their Fall/Winter ’09 fashion shows.

Modest-mania

By Editor • Aug 18th, 2008 • Category: Trend Time

Long and lean skirts paired with knitted cardigans and jackets are not just the favorite uniform of modest girls, it’s the fall’s new trendy look, delivered to the catwalk by designers such as Alexander Wang, Carlos Miele, Halston, and Marc Jacobs.

Fall Bloom

By Editor • Aug 14th, 2008 • Category: Trend Time

From the freshest of spring lawns into winter gardens, florals are a trend that never die. Purple hues, nightfall shades of blues, russet browns, subtle grays in the form of lilacs and beaded poppies splashed on skirts, dresses, and chiffon blouses, florals are everywhere for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.

Peplum is back

By Editor • Aug 11th, 2008 • Category: Trend Time

It was obvious at the Fall/Winter fashion shows that peplum was trendy once more, as well as a ladylike attitude towards fall styles.
