Are Supermodels so “Super” without makeup and photoshopping? Supermodels Supernatural in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar let’s you decide. Lensed by Peter Lindbergh, it features supermodels Kristen McMenamy, Cindy Crawford, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Helena Christensen, Nadja Auermann, Tatjana Patitz, and Claudia Schiffer sans makeup and minus the oh so ubiquitous photoshopping we see in all the fashion mags. Is natural beauty truly more appealing than artificial enhancement?

i love all these women but give me a break! they STILL have makeup on!! it’s obvious!! the “natural” makeup look still counts as makeup!!
Good lighting, good genes, good knowledge of posing…good results. None of them are all out laughing are they?? But my God they are out of this world beautiful…
The supermodels were freaks of nature anyway and that’s how we liked them. Amazons not the frail wisps of today.
…I’m on their side because I am their age and I hope that I too can say that I have matured not aged.
