Where Valentino is, there’s always a great show of fashion. A host of stars flew to Venice yesterday for last night’s premier of ‘Valentino. The Last Emperor’ at the Venice film festival. Friends and fans of Valentino Garavani including Natalia Vodianova, Diane Kruger, Charlize Theron, Claire Danes, Elizabeth Hurley, and Eva Herzigova appeared on the red carpet.

Elizabeth Hurley was the best dressed lady last night, as she hit the red carpet in a stunning cream gown.

Eva Herzigova looked like a goddess in a white strapless Valentino Spring 2007 Couture lace gown.

Diane Kruger shined in a draped one-shouldered pink gown.

Natalia Vodianova opted for a simple white gown. Whatever she wears on the red carpet, she is always gorgeous.

Claire Danes stepped out in Valentino Spring 2008 Couture tulle cocktail dress.

Fashion designer Alessandra Facchinetti opted for a green dress of her own design from the  Fall 2008 Couture she did for Valentino.

Mom-to-be Tamara Beckwith wore a one shoulder gown with beautiful embroidery.
