Fedora Hats

By Editor • Jul 23rd, 2008 • Category: Accessories

Edgy, dramatic, and romantic – it’s all about fedoras. Named from the title of an 1882 play by Victorien Sardou, Fédora, these hats are worn not only by men, but they are women’s wardrobe staple too. Fedoras give a suave look for fluid trouser suits and a simple outfit like jeans and a t-shirt.

Fedoras have a dark reputation – they were worn by gangsters and spies in Hollywood movies of the 1940s. But this season with Donna Karan’s straw hats and Diane von Furstenberg’s Hessian hats, you can be more than a mysterious woman – your look will acquire a feminine and emancipated touch.
