A cult item of every women’s wardrobe is the Burberry trench coat. For more than 50 years, the double-breasted beige-colored coat with the leather buckle closure on the belt and cuffs, has been considered a womenswear classic.

If you saw the final scene from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, then you surely remember Audrey Hepburn, standing in the rain in her Burberry trench coat. If you want to add it to your own wardrobe, expect to pay upwards of $1000.

Why is the trench coat considered one of the classics? Because it is respectable, stylish, and universal. Thanks to its classic cream colors, the trench coat can be combined with almost any color and any item of your wardrobe. It is good for the evening with a little black dress, perfect for a walk with jeans and ballet flats, and ideal for the office with a pencil skirt or pants.
